The Kanyakumari Community Center

This center was completed in 2001 and is located in Our Lady of Ransom parish. It was constructed of plaster, bricks, and cement.  Father Herman provided approximately $8,000 to help finish this center.  Some of its uses include parish functions, wedding receptions, study hall for children and education.  This building is located roughly 100 yards from the Bay of Bengal and was filled as a shelter when the recent tsunami hit the coast of India.
