The Catholic Foundation

The Catholic Foundation established the India Projects Fund in 2001.

The Catholic Foundation's professional investment is managed with the intention of obtaining the highest possible total return on the portfolio, while maintaining a prudently acceptable level of risk and providing income to satisfy the needs of the various funds. The Catholic Foundation for the Roman Catholic Church in Northern Colorado seeks to balance the twin objectives of investing in a morally responsible manner, while attempting to maximize total financial return over the long term, taking into account an appropriate amount of risk. These objectives are mandated by our Roman Catholic identity, tempered by our understanding of stewardship, and guided by Canon Law, prevailing civil law, tradition, and the legal concept of fiduciary responsibility.

The Catholic Foundation for the Roman Catholic Church in Northern Colorado was established in 1998 as a non-profit organization to support the mission and ministries of the Roman Catholic Church in northern Colorado.

By offering donors a means to provide long-term financial support to parishes, schools, and various religious and charitable entities, both here in the United States and internationally, the Foundation is helping to build and secure the universal Church's future. The Catholic Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity.

With the guidance of the Catholic Foundation's Gift Acceptance Policy, the Catholic Foundation is equipped to deal with virtually all types of donations:

  • Cash
  • Appreciated Property (stocks, mutual funds, real estate, etc.)
  • Charitable Bequests
  • Life Insurance
  • Trusts and Charitable Annuities
